Struggling with your art?

Here's what you can do to improve your art!

Avoid relying on digital stabilization tools or line assists. Practice freehand drawing to develop steady hands and precise control over your tools.

Use reference materials like anatomy guides, lighting references, and pose references to enhance the accuracy and realism of your artwork. You can find a bunch on my Discord server

Experiment with different color palettes to convey mood and emotion in your art.

Learn to create depth and form by mastering values (shades of lightness and darkness). Practice creating grayscale artworks to understand the importance of values in your color pieces.

Study various artists who inspire you. Analyze their techniques, but don’t copy them directly. You can incorporate, what you like into your own unique style.

When tackling complex subjects, start by simplifying them into basic shapes. This makes it easier to construct accurate and visually appealing compositions.

Just like athletes warm up before a game, artists can benefit from warming up with quick sketches or exercises to get into a creative flow.

Sketch several thumbnail versions to plan your composition, layout, and focal points. This helps you experiment with different ideas before committing to a final piece.

Allow yourself to draw or paint loosely and expressively. This can lead to unique and unexpected results that contribute to you art style.

I have a channel on my Discord server dedicated to helping other artists with their artwork! Feedback can help you identify areas for improvement and inspire new ideas. Join now~.
